Ascent Mentorship Program
The Ascent Mentorship Program is a structured mentorship program that enables boys in Colorado who have experienced trafficking and are vulnerable to exploitation, to become connected with a community of support. BridgeHope provides participants the opportunity to not only learn valuable life skills and build long lasting relationships, but also the tools and resources to grow into the person that they want to become. Here we believe that one-on-one mentorship is a place for youth to learn what it means to foster a personal connection with another individual and grow in the goals that they put into place through collaborative partnership with the referring agency.
If you are wondering how you can make an impact in the life of a boy who is a survivor of trafficking or is vulnerable to exploitation, please consider becoming a mentor with us. You will go through extensive extensive training that will equip you to engage fully with survivors of trauma, as well as receive both on-going supervision, on-going education on ways to connect with your mentee, and structured activity suggestions. We ask for a time commitment of one year from the date of first meeting your mentee with the mutual option of continuing the relationship.
